Fulwell 73, the acclaimed production company has acquired renowned post-production company Creativity Media
Fulwell 73, set up in 2005 by lifelong friends Ben Winston, Leo Pearlman, Ben Turner and Gabe Turner, produces and creates top-quality, commercial television, feature and digital productions. In March 2017 James Corden joined the company as a fifth full partner.
The company produces popular and well-regarded content, including the shows Carpool Karaoke and Drop the Mic, as well as the documentaries Class of ‘92, I am Bolt, One Direction 3D: This Is Us, among others. The Company also co-produces The Late Late Show with James Corden.
Fulwell 73 has acquired Creativity Media as part of its strategy to accelerate growth and upgrade its existing post-production operations by merging with Creativity Media’s post-production team.
Creativity Media was founded by Patrick Fischer and Richard Kondal in 2010 and over the past nine years has established a reputation for being one of the UK’s leading post-production houses, becoming known for its passion for storytelling and being a champion of independent film. Since its launch, Creativity Media has post-produced 95 films and television shows, which have generated $127 million at the worldwide box office, won 86 awards and have played at all major film festivals around the world including Sundance, Cannes, Venice and Toronto.
The new post-production division will combine Fulwell’s expertise in predominately TV production and post-production with Creativity Media’s expertise in feature film picture and sound finishing, VFX and delivery, bringing a new level of creativity to Fulwell’s own productions, through an end to end workflow that ensures creative control and quality all the way from set to screen.
This Fulwell/Creativity Media deal follows Valence Media’s £45 million investment in Fulwell 73 in September 2018. This acquisition springboards Fulwell‘s growth in London and Los Angeles, ramping up its film, TV and digital programming slate.
“Having worked with Stella EOC on our Valence deal last year, it was only natural to continue the relationship as we now switch gears and look to growth through acquisition as part of the company’s next phase. Once again we found that the team at Stella EOC were able to combine the necessary level of due diligence and detail-orientated analysis with entrepreneurial spirit and understanding. I have no doubt that this is just the next step on a long and fruitful journey that Fulwell 73 and Stella EOC will enjoy together for many years to come.”
