In March 2015, C More Norway announced that it had been acquired by TV2, is the largest commercial television broadcaster in Norway measured by daily time consumption.
TV 2, headquartered in Oslo and owned by media group Egmont, operates several premium TV channels including its premium pay TV sport channel which among other sports rights holds the English Premier League, as well as an OTT platform, Sumo.
The combination of TV2 and C More Norway creates the undisputed leading premium TV operator in Norway with high quality content, including several tp football leagues in exclusivity, as well as the best premium movies and series, beyond any other premium TV operators in the country, e.g. Netflix, HBO Nordic etc.
